product is the Energy Cell ®, the result of extensive research,
advanced engineering and testing. The Energy Cell® represents
state-of-the-art in on-site thermal electric technology,
utilizes all sources of heat energy; including sunlight, air
conditioners, attic heat, or waste process heat as its
sustainable fuel to convert into electricity, hot water, and
space heat. Although our electrical efficiency is similar to the
electrical efficiency of solar photovoltaic systems (12 to 18%),
we also simultaneously produce domestic hot water and space
heating - which raises the net power efficiency to more than
80%. Kokhala's EnergyCell® utilizes air conditioning and
refrigeration components, creating a modular and scalable system
(like an air conditioner) to enable us to cost-effectively
address applications up to a large industrial plant. Kokhala's
solar EnergyCell® can simultaneously produce electricity,
space-heating and hot water, providing many critical advantages
when compared to other solar technologies:
